ABOUT

Throughout his educational, military and private practice experiences, Mr. Bean has been extremely blessed, receiving awards and accolades for his noted first-hand work in a vast array of exciting cases and projects. Since Mr. Bean’s admission to the Florida Bar in 2007, he has set himself apart from the “typical” attorney, having gained a unique perspective on the practice of law, working worldwide in several different areas of law. In addition to engaging in thousands of legal issues with different clients, Mr. Bean has attended many advanced legal training courses focused on Estate Planning, Elder Law, Family Law, Health Law, and Mental Health Law. All together, his professional background has given him the ability to quickly create an effective plan of action to meet the specific needs of his clients. Currently, Mr. Bean is a solo practitioner at his law firm, Judd Bean Law, which provides legal services in the areas of Estate Planning (i.e., wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and health care surrogates) and Mental Health Law (i.e., Marchman Act, Baker Act, and Guardianship Law).

In 2011, Mr. Bean was medically-retired from the United States Air Force JAG Corps after 4 years of distinguished service. His medical-retirement was due to his numerous service-connected injuries, which were deemed to be total and permanent by the Air Force and Department of Veteran’s Affairs. During Captain Bean’s time on active-duty, he earned the Department of the Air Force “The Air Force Commendation Medal,” “Outstanding Unit Medal,” “Global War on Terrorism Medal,” “National Defense Medal,” and “Air Force Training Ribbon.” Additionally, Captain Bean was a Distinguished Graduate from United States Air Force Officer Training School. The unique personal and professional talents Judd learned while serving our Nation are put to good use in the new experiences Judd Bean Law brings, he continues to put his service before self.

Mr. Bean graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sport Management. In 2007, he earned a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law, finishing at the upper % of his class. Later in 2007, he passed the Florida Bar Exam and was admitted to the Florida Bar. In 2017, he graduated in the top of his class from Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s LL.M. program, earning an LL.M. degree in Health Law.
